Check the cdc for flu and pneumonia deaths for March and April. It said 0 two days ago. I’m sure they are adjusting it now. It might explain why we have SO many corona deaths.
Just something to look into.

it is just a reflection of the uptick in reported cases over the last two weeks. That number will continue to climb, but what is more important is number of new cases, and that dropping.

it is just a reflection of the uptick in reported cases over the last two weeks. That number will continue to climb, but what is more important is number of new cases, and that dropping.
I hope that your data is correct. My daughter (ED nurse) told me this afternoon that only 3 million people had been tested in the US. That's about 9.2% of the population. There's probably a lot of asymptomatic, or mild-case, carriers still out there. That's a potential surge in new cases as people return to work.
Many professionals are still saying that the peak in SC will occur around May 1, depending upon social distancing and masking implementations.
