Mickey just said that last week when Pres Clements was in Chicago, Hunter Johnson came down just to say hello.


Good kid, wish him the best.


Hindsight always being 20/20 , the wrong QB left after Spring Ball.

but now we can follow him at another quality program (at Northwestern near Chicago)..plus he will be able to wear Purple more than once a season!

I understand that Hunter did not get his shot last year. I'm not sure why but it doesn't matter at this point.


Just curious but based on what we saw from Hunter last year in his first season on the field and what we have seen from Brice this year in his first season on the field, which of them do you think is the better player and has the better tools to finish as the better player?

Personally, I think Johnson looked like the better player in the spring game but Brice may have more upside and tools. I think Brice has the stronger arm. The only thing that seemed to be lacking from Brice in the spring was his decision making. As he matures I think he can finish as a better product than Johnson.

At this point we will never know because they will be developed in different ways moving forward.

HJ ,after sitting this season ,will be starting on a team that won their Division this year. KB will be at Arkansas LOL







I think Chase is great,getting better everyday. At this point ,his long ball is better than TL's. We're in great shape.
