Unreal how the Natty Win obscures OHst shut-out..

Feb 10, 2017, 9:24 AM

Which was probably Buckeyes 1st goose egg in 20 years AND Urban's VERY 1st in his entire football career.. Encompassing about 190 wins, 3 colleges & 2 Natties!

Saying, normally Clemson fans would feast & brag on that unreal D accomplishment vs mighty BiG10 Bucks for 35 years..

But this year Clemson FB & Fans had bigger Elephants to Fry!

35-31 & a Natty Trophy beats 31-0 any day in Tigertown!

It was a "Beat Down" of epic proportion that Urban Meyer never will forget.

You are correct on that my friend. Look no further than the changes he's made since then. Can you only imagine the crap that he got for that. I know right afterwards enjoying the fanbase meltdown.

Bill is correct - kinda gets overshadowed as well it should but man, what a beatdown. and to think, our D should be better this year !!!

Both were great wins. History was made on many fronts. I guess "Clemsoning" is now gone forever.

LBB: it's not obscure for Meyer, I can tell you that...

as to the shutout, well

let's just remember that Urban's QB wasn't having a good night,

and he didn't have Jake Bentley playing for him

to run up his own points.

#56-7

You're just not enjoying it correctly. As you immerse yourself in the hot tub of victory, you feel the warmth of the national championship game, the wetness of the buckeye beatdown, the massaging jetstream of the ACC Championship, then you make the fart bubbles for the 56-7 curbstomping.

There was an interview with someone from OHio St before the game that insisted on talking about going against Bama and the interviewer said "What about Clemson? You have to play them first" and his comment was "Oh, No Problems" and he continued to talk about going up against Bama. Does anyone have more info on this interview. Wonder what rock he is hiding under now.

It was intended as a message the college football world that "CLEMSON is 4 real"
