Uncalled for ESPN

May 7, 2020, 9:02 AM

Why single out a high school kid like this?

There's no call for this - is just another........

"reverse discrimination" situation by ESPN because this guy's white (like he couldn't POSSIBLY be a truly good running back in major college).

This kind of thing is BS. He needs to be left alone to prove himself at Clemson before anybody comments on his abilities.

I remember when Christian McCaffrey first started at Stanford hearing similar BS comments from the sports media. Now McCaffrey's the highest-paid running back in the NFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't our own CLEMSON teammates call Hunter Renfrow "White Chocolate"? I guess because he was so good that he must be Black somehow. I considered that racist and just as despicable as anyone doing something similar. Black people won't understand this though, and White people should never tolerate it.

Example: White people with Blackface is considered bad, but it seems that Black people having Blonde hair is just fine (but not to everyone). Some of us see the double standard and do NOT like it.

I dare you to read this and get educated.

"Blackface is much more than just dark makeup used to enhance a costume."

Thank you for the article - origins of it. Did not know any of that - thanks!

I think Dabo said it best when he said...

Do you REALLY care?

I am not going to fake outrage over something that everybody sees and probably thinks.
There is way too much offense taken over race by people who just lie to themselves.

They are a low class network that will do anything to push their liberal agenda. You can put 3 or 4 more networks in there with them.

That was positive overall. Nothing wrong with that.

Shipley to do his talking between the goal lines! Can’t wait to see this next all American in Tiger orange do his thing.

The reason I’d didn’t like it is that they had the professionalism

May 7, 2020, 11:28 AM [ in reply to Re: Uncalled for ESPN ]

the analysis and the recruiting knowledge of a handful of ten year olds in mom’s basement. Why even have a show? They offered nothing and fumbled through an awkward “ha ha he’s white” segment.

I watch College Game Day (time allowing) and Clemson football on ESPN...nice to know I’m not missing anything.

That show is just silly show. They don't take themselves that seriously. They play around for the entire show.

I like this, If i'm Shipley i use it as motivation

May 7, 2020, 11:14 AM

they'll see that it doesn't matter than I'm white. I haven't even fully physically developed yet.

Bomani Jones is absolute garbage. one of the main ones leading the attack on dabo. he needs to keep clemson and dabo out of his mouth.

"I love this place, I've got a spot already picked out where I want 'em to put me when I die - up there on that ole hill near the stadium. I want to be there so I can hear all them people cheering my Tigers on Saturdays; then I won't have to go Heaven; I'll already be there."- Frank Howard

It’s pretty cool actually. We are getting mentioned and white RB are extremely rare. We can’t complain about discrimination people
