I too hope that we establish the run early against BC.

That said I am still wondering about OBS's departure.

I know alot has been said, and alot of it more than once. One thing I haven't noticed (if it has been said sorry for being repetitive) is where Ray Tanner fits into all of this? What kind of culture is he trying to build? I haven't done any research, but from what I remember of him as a baseball coach he didn't seem to exhibit the same disgusting ego of the coot fan base. Will he try to find a coach with more class and less swagger? To me he is the wild card in the process. Has anyone else considered this angle?

So Tanner is going to hire a public pisser? LOL

I guess instead of names I am wondering what kind/style of coach Tanner would hire. TBH we really don't know a thing about his personel preferances. He has no hiring history.

Tanner hired Frank Martin as the basketball coach. I don't really know what that means other than he isn't scared to hire someone with an anger complex.

Met him once at a Clemson-Carolina tailgate in Columbia. Seemed like a really nice, level-headed guy. I can't see him going for another narcissist like Spurrier but it isn't just his call.

I think he'll be looking for someone with more energy and character, but then, if he finds that coach, who/what will we talk about.
