Tyshon Dye

Jul 21, 2012, 10:53 AM

Completely impressed by this kids highlight reel. Not only is he fast, but he's tough. Love to see a running back make a DB pay when trying to tackle him one on one. Welcome to Clemson, Mr. Dye!!!

He is my first choice out of him, Green, and Kamara b/c of toughness. And defenders better be ready to take a hit also.

yeah

I think he is the most complete, tough, solid, everydown back we've signed in a while.

Really happy to have him,

Jul 21, 2012, 12:37 PM

Give him a year or two in a college program and he will be stronger and even tougher to be bring down. He is the between the tackle runner that Clemson has lacked since JD left

Would you stop comparing our backs to Coot players?

Really? Seems to play aginst a high WGQ (white guy quotient) check the reel..lots of white DT's, LB's and DB's. Highlight films just don't impress me anymore.lol

What exactly does skin color have to do with it? White people can't play sports?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I would think.....

Jul 21, 2012, 5:10 PM [ in reply to Re: Tyshon Dye ]

GA competition would be stiffer than VA competition if you compare Dye to Green

I was impressed in many ways watching his highlights, but the 2 things that impressed me most about him as a RB were (1) His hands - catches the ball well (2) When he changes direction, he has a tremendous burst that separates him from defenders. He is by far my favorite of all the RB recruits we looked at.

i have been watching this kid since he was in the 7th grade. He is flat out rediculous. If i remember in middle school he was in end zone i would ay 95% of the time he touched the ball. i still get to Watch him out run or punish the top defensive backs in the north east georgia region .His stats do not do him justice he hasplayed in a wing T his entire high school career.Oh if only ECCHS ran a split back field or I formation.
