Trevor Lawrence and DJ not much drop off...

I did a post yesterday asking what if DJ is better then Trevor Lawrence?

Well While DJ may not be better then Trevor Lawrence he’s definitely neck and neck with Trevor Lawrence. There just isn’t much of a drop off from Trevor Lawrence to DJ. DJ had to overcome some bad play calling in the first half especially but DJ exceeded all expectations. He was absolutely amazing in fact Djs arm is stronger then Trevor Lawrence’s. Just a flick of his wrist and the ball goes 30yds. Amazing arm strength. And pretty accurate as well. Now I hope Tony Elliot shows a lot more Trust in DJ and opens up the play book a little more against Notre Dame. More designed Qb runs a few more deep balls etc....

Tony Elliot hit the nail on the head when he said Trevor Lawrence and DJ was cut from the same cloth. Because in my personal opinion there’s not much if any drop off from Trevor Lawrence to DJ. Clemson is truly blessed at Qb I hope that when Trevor Lawrence returns Dabo keeps a package in the playbook for DJ to run each game. Because DJ can help us win!

Look out now. I was impressed with D.J. and pleased. But let’s not put him in Lawrence’s category just yet. He will probably see things from ND that he did not see yesterday. And if he ONLY HAD AN OFFENSIVE LINE !
