Top Ten - phrases that identify you're a TNET coot

Nov 11, 2014, 7:26 AM

Hello all, I am about 2 weeks in to being a new member of TNET, I have enjoyed every minute of it. So here is my top ten ways you know you are a coot on TNET list -

1. "I'm not trying to be negative here, but..."
2. I know y'all are going to TD me, but..."
3. Any post attacking tiger players
4. Use of the term 'sunshine pumpers'
5. Pulse <80%
6. Goes into meltdown mode over any bad play (real or perceived)during games
7. Thinks coach Morris is headed to SMU at any moment
8. Thinks Germans is identifying a language or country in Europe
9. Posts requests for tickets and parking passes at face value or less
10. Takes the contrarian view regardless of the topic

I hope at least a few were worth a chuckle...did I miss any to be on the look out for...?

Go tigers and have a great Tuesday!

Nov 11, 2014, 7:55 AM

is anything more than a salesman, cheerleader, etc. Does not appreciate the great job Coach Swinney is doing in developing great young men as well as football players. I guess the comparison to their coach is too much to handle!

Does not give Morris any credit for great plays

Claims Morris should have known that Chad Kelly would be kicked off, therefore it was his responsibility to have recruited and FORCED another qb to commit to Clemson lol

I personally reserve the word 'coot' for scar fans (aka coots). But some on here do tend to call dumpers, coots also. Dumpers are people too. I wouldn't give them such a derogatory label.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I do find it a bit funny

Nov 11, 2014, 8:01 PM

The reason my pulse is so low is I questioned Dabo and CM's reason to continue to play Stoudt in the UGA game, despite it being obvious to me 10 minutes in who the QB should be. Since then, people assume I'm a coot and give me thumbs down no matter what I post, including that after the new UNC incident that Swofford should step down, as he was the AD during the beginning of the atrocity, adding to him screwing the whole conference with RayCom, which his son/son in law (can't remember which) owns, and is the AD who gave Clemson 2 additional post season football bans to try to get his team to a NCG, ironically siting academic reasons. So, whatever. I feel vindicated in the end with everyone else picking up on what I knew after Watson's first drive.
