at the University of Florida. I've had emails today from a current student, an alumni, the President of the University and Steve Spurrier asking for any amount. I checked my piggy bank and there were no coins, no paper money, nothing but empty space. As one of my former class mates would often say, "the happiest four years of my life were spent at the University of Florida as a member of the freshman class". After working for a year, I entered the university in the summer of 1940 and finally received my degree in 1949. Of course, WW2 came along and I had to take some time off from school.
