Media deciding which of our elected official should be heard, and how they should be heard, and if heard how it should be spliced and presented, is no small part of this. When five people (or maybe its 6) decide what you see and hear, things like this will happen.

A high control, top down environment produces pharisees and rebels. If that is what is being produced, the answer is not in more of produced it. 100 million innocent dead people will tell you that.
