To all of the people who are butthurt over the players

participating in their racial/social justice meetings and protests, many going so far as to say they will never watch another game, may I suggest that you are selfishly motivated and might need to take a long, hard look at your mirror?
Dabo and the staff recruit high character kids, many of whom come from extremely different backgrounds than any of us will ever know. We know he runs a tight ship, and doesn't tolerate any poor behavior as teammates, citizens, or students. The PAW Journey program is one of the best things any of these kids will ever experience.
I think a lot of you could stand to examine your motives for being fans of this team, and its players.

I think a lot of it is driven by the Covid restrictions for attendance and tailgating, so they're already spring-loaded to being redassed.

I have that rare ability to scroll past the sewerage...a lot of people don't. If something doesn't interest me, I don't read it. If I want to engage in serious discourse over the issues of the day, then that seems best addressed in person. THAT is why Facebook doesn't bother me in the least.

and weeklong preparations and how many players she has meet and made pictures with, who now is completely disillusioned with everything, mainly due to Covid, to be fair.
But she is complaining loudly about the players participating in protests, too.

so many of the ppl I see taking offense at the player's statements, etc and claiming they won't pull for the team/player as a result...are the same ones who complain about the "cancel culture".
I just don't get the sentiment that you can only "support" those with which you agree with politically.
I'm going to buy 3 years worth of Goya beans to support them and I'm not going to ever buy Nike products again. I'm never going to watch the NFL again because of something to do with the national anthem and on and on. It is a ridiculous and impossible to stay consistent with.
