Tickets Question.

Jan 6, 2020, 8:41 PM

So I’m sure this has been answered already but I can’t find the thread for it. But a majority of tickets are mobile tickets like last year right?

I am headed down with a buddy with no tickets just yet and kinda winging it.

Want to make sure we don’t get scammed or anything.

See everyone next week,

Thanks guys and go tigers!

Mine was from an friend who purchased through IPTAY

definitely mobile and then mailed a hard copy later. Still gotta frame that and the pic for my dad.

If I remember correctly, I didn’t see a single paper ticket anywhere.

Also, getting into the fan center on the way to the stadium they had metal detectors and not liquor detectors, don’t bring a bottle with a metal lid and you may save some money. And on that subject, mini bottles fit the flight rules for liquids, so load up there and enjoy your flight on the cheap. No better feeling than boarding a plane with a stiff drink in hand in a Mc Donald’s cup.

Re: Tickets Question.

All tickets are via CFP app and not paper.
You buy a ticket stubhub or Ticketmaster or some individual and they transfer it to you phone via the app.
Show the ticket on your phone to enter the stadium.

What if they’re from someone on the team or someone who works on the team.. either Clemson or LSU. Still digital?

Re: Tickets Question.

most of these will be hard tickets

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe 7500 paper tickets

Jan 6, 2020, 9:07 PM

Lots of primo tickets are hard tickets. Several conferences get hard tickets. ACC/SEC all get hard tickets. Many players, coaches, etc. get hard tickets.

I bought 4 in 142 today and they are hard tickets.

Amy are those 'give away tickets' so that conference officials can give friends, relatives and rich donors 'free' tickets?

Conferences pay face

Jan 6, 2020, 9:27 PM

not sure what the conference charges the folks they give them to.

I bought about 200 from a conference out west for the Tampa game. They did not realize what they had so they gladly took my $$$ for lowers.

Amy anyway you can show me what those hard tickets look like (obviously cover the bar code)

I have someone who is trying to sell me a hard ticket but I just have too many red flags since I went last year and it was all digital.

Thanks for everyone’s help. Just not trying to get scammed

I'll show a pic when I get one in my hands. Ones I bought

Jan 6, 2020, 9:24 PM [ in reply to Re: Maybe 7500 paper tickets ]

today are being shipped and seller was in Europe so his neighbor is sending. I might not get them for 2-3 days.

To answer a question above, any tickets the conferences get they pay face for. Any ticket the teams get (players, coaches, etc.) I assume LSU and Clemson pay for. Advertisers like Dr. Pepper get a ton and I assume those are all included in their sponsorship.

I would be very leery of anyone selling a hard ticket right now.
