Minnesota is a huge school of 55,000. The only D1 school in the state (no FCS either). They are in the big ten west so don’t have to deal with Ohio State or Michigan in their division.

As Nebraska continues to struggle he could make the west a yearly battle of Minnesota vs Wisconsin. He could be there new found long term legendary coach.

The buyout drops big time after this year. In other words, he won't leave Minn before 2020.

I'm glad for him. PJ Fleck is not a dull drone like so many guys and brings a different flavor. He turns some people off but I like coaches that display personality without coming across as arrogant jerks.
