Great pitching on weekends. Just got to consistently hit like they are today. And figure out weekday pitching situation. But this team I feel could get to Omaha! Thoughts?

Hitting is the obvious X factor. I think another piece to get to Omaha is to identify a 4th starter. Someone who can dominate midweek. Getting into the post season format we will need a 4th starter and not have to use one of our bullpen guys. Figure that out and might be in for a great year with this pitching staff.

Good point.. didn’t think of Mat. I also think Askew is pitching well so far this year and not needed out of the pen.

Leave Gilbert, Raffield, Spiers, and who knows what’s going on with Holt... Clarke and Askew could give us a formidable rotation in the post season.

He's going to have to give Askew a start this week. I wouldn't mind him giving Holt a start this week either.
