These things helps our recruiting...

Jan 1, 2015, 1:50 PM

Happy for Clemson.. We beat Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio-State over the last 4 years. 42 wins (10 wins per yr) #1Defense in the nation, and done it the right way. I guess what's special is it's my hometown team (stadium is 10min from my house). It's a small true college town but I can go to Las Vegas (or anywhere) with a PAW shirt on and the brand is recognized nationally. That has always been cool.. I love the Clemson family

I have heard our coaches request we wear orange and the paw

everywhere we can. It is a brand and it is recognized. You never know when a potential recruit sees the paw.

I have been stopped with a Paw/Clemson shirt on

in San Diego multiple times, LA, SF, Vegas, Virginia, FL, NJ, NYC, Eugene, OR, San Jose, Oakland by Clemson people and non Clemson people alike. The best reception I ever got was at the Oregon/Stanford game tailgate at Autzen Stadium and at the LA Coliseum Oregon tailgate at last year's Oregon/SC game. You would be surprised at the amount of CFB fans who follow and like Clemson all over the nation. The best one yet was Sunday AM after the Chicken slaughter when I walked outside with a cup of coffee onto my deck and a jeep with a Paw flag was at the red light right across from my apt. I have a Clemson flag flying on my deck....he rolled his window down, honked the horn and said, "SUCK IT COOTS! GOOOO TIGERS!", honked and took off on the green light.....in San Jose, CA....made my whole day that Sunday.
