The way things are going

Mar 17, 2020, 1:47 PM

I could see them pulling the plug on football this fall. We arent there yet but in the last few days we'e seen things get canceled we never would have suspected. It just feels like it is definitely headed that way.

Social distancing may do just that

Mar 17, 2020, 2:20 PM

I heard that the purpose of social distancing is to keep too many from contracting early on. It suppose to push out the peak infection in the country a few months so there may be a lot of cases still around in August.

Hope not, but that's apparently what everyone is trying to do.

Love them Tigers - it's hard not to have sports to follow.

Yep, I thought the same thing two days ago. Let's hope not.

When I was younger, after Hurricane Hugo, I remember sitting on my front steps trying to will the cable guys over to my house to reconnect my cable on Saturday because Clemson had a football game coming on that day. My priorities sadly still have not changed.

Let's hope this comes to an end quickly.

I think the feds should just inject everyone with the virus and it's back to business in 2-3 weeks. Think about it....Chicken Pox sucked but once it was over then life was back to normal.

I lope you are just trying to be funny. To us 90 year olds this situation is anything but funny.. Surely you have some family in the endangered age group.

Yes, I am just kidding. I think it would be kind of draconian to do that but I would definitely exclude anyone over 60 years of age or anyone with underlying issues.

We can only hope O.J's countdown holds true

but 170 days is a short time and a vaccine is said to be further away than that.
