Those Darn Amigos

This whole season reminds me of the line from The Three Amigos after they made “Those Darn Amigos”. They strayed from the formula and they paid the price. Even beyond COVID, something was off this year. Players on social media, screwing with the names on jerseys, much more chirping. The humble “little old Clemson” thing couldn’t work forever, certainly, but so many of the things that made us who we are went missing this year. None of this is why we lost, of course, but I am glad to turn this particular page and get back to the culture I recognize.
