The reason i asked is,i thought only Watson and the Ala RB and the Stanford RB
went last year.

Only finalists, with a minimum of three, are invited to New York for the Heisman announcement. There have been more than three finalists in past years, but the Heisman committee decides how many after tabulating votes. If the voting is close between whomever finishes directly below the third-place finisher, then more finalists are named.
