As we approach the Cawks vs Dawgs match-up, I am reminded of the late, great Lewis Grizzard. Lewis was a Dawg and hated Clemson with a passion, but he claimed to have written the "greatest headline in the history of sports journalism" as the Dawgs prepared to play the Cawks. In one of his talks at a touchdown club or other organization he was talking about Clemson and said that we had discovered "another use for sheep" ........... wool!
Not real flattering .... but funny!

My favorite Grizzard story was about the time that the Dawg mascot UGA, on national TV, "Licked himself where bulldogs are wont to lick". One of Grizzard's buddies looked at him, grinning, and said "Man, I wish I could do that." Without missing a beat, Grizzard said "That dog'd BITE YOOUUU!"
