As Americans we all would argue against Communism back in the day as it was always the battle of Capitalism v. Communism. Capitalism was about freedom and the free market. Communism was not. It claimed to have a superior ideology and a superior product but the actions spoke much louder than the words about what the true belief was. Communism was so great, so wonderful, so great for mankind and its advancement that the Communist built a wall. Not a wall to keep people from joining the Communist countries but to keep people from leaving. How outrageous was that we would say???

I give you the $50,000,000 exit fee as the ACC’s Berlin Wall…….

against. saying it was punitive as a reason for their 'no' was a cop out as the only way it would ever be an issue is if someone left.

it's as much a sign of solidarity, which should have shown maryland's hand for what just took place. they've been courted/rumored to the bigxish for years because of their membership in aau and no natural rival once vpi displaced them as uva's[in conference].
