Does it really matter in the scheme of things? Maybe they make up for it in basketball? Either way, Clemson football is doing great.

They were added for basketball. ACC is a predominately basketball conference. The above 3 schools probably complain about us adding absolutely nothing to the conference in terms of basketball.

Clemson ACC loses since 2015, Pitt and Syracuse.

The last “real” ACC team that beat Clemson was GaTech in 2014
BC kept us from winning the division ( but helped us hire Dabo) that alone should give BC a pass.

I don’t agree, Pitt hasn’t been a bad addition at all. It’s great too have a presents in New England, But BC Firing Addazio was really dumb for them. Who is gonna be better for the University than he did. They’re nuts for that decision.

WRONG! Look at those TV markets. They definitely helped with creating the ACCN. Pitt has like 7 or 8 Natties in football. BC wins Natty in Hockey every other year just about. All of them are in a huge basketball region and all that exposure helps in recruiting. Look at the recent 4-5* players we have recruited out of the NEast the last 6-7yrs, an area that we typically got very little. They all went to Penn St, Ohio St, and other Big 10 schools.
They were very strategically recruited into the ACC. There are other reasons beyond football!!
