Non COVID Poast - Favorite Tiger Running Back?

Lots of great ones to choose from. Etienne and Spiller are incredible, but Terry Allen is still my favorite.

I’ve been watching all 3 of them on YouTube this past week.

It’s a really tough call. I don’t think Spiller was the best pure RB out of those three but he was the best all purpose back. If I had to chose one out of the three to be on my roster I think I would pass the decision to someone else. All three were absolutely phenomenal. Etienne may get the chance to really separate himself this year though.

have to be "stat" based. As such, I used to enjoy watching Lester "The Rubber Duck" Brown juke around back in the day. He were a slippery debil.

Well ETN is great but as a young guy I used to love watching Kenny Flowers run the ball. I wish ETN got the number of carries those backs used to get. So my list would be Flowers, ETN, Allen, Gallman, Mack, Flagler. Wish I could’ve seen McFadden.

My goodness I left off Spiller. He’d be number 3 on the list. An embarrassment of riches indeed.

Tough choice! We have had some really good ones.

Terry Allen gets my vote, but I realize that era featured the running game almost exclusively. I’m sure Spiller and Etienne would’ve also shined in an option-based offense.

but they defenses couldn't stop him anyway. Made some of those Tommy West years somewhat enjoyable. Would also be hard to go wrong with Etienne, Gallman, Zachary, Driver, Flowers, Allen, Merriwether, Jasmin, Mack, Spiller, Davis, or any one of the others we've had!

Buddy Gore. He was one of the stars of the November 26, 1966 game. I had to miss that game because it was Thanksgiving weekend and my mother in law insisted that had to be my/my wife's wedding day because it was the only day the relatives could be in Charlotte (I grew up in Liberty) for the wedding. Most of the guests had to seat themselves because the ushers were in the church parking lot listening to the game on the radio. When my wife came down the aisle the only thing I said to her is "We won." That was 11/26/1966 and we are still married.

Unequivocally Stacey Driver.
A good friend in school and we both blew our knees out at the same time, with Doc Bowman fixing both.

Probably ETN. So many greats to choose from, but the one that I always thought could have been great was Cliff Austin #7 back in early 80's. Tough hard runner.

THUNDER! - Jame Davis - shame I don't think he was 100% for the NFL stint but I liked how he ran. N/S and "just" slippery enough.
