Tanking for Trevor vs Relegation

I know many here have a negative impression of soccer and if your key reference is the MLS then even I have my issues. However putting the sport aside, the European soccer relegation concept is something that American sports could really benefit from.

Putting your entire fan base through a losing season with not only no consequence, but then rewarding the practice is crazy.

I will admit that the salary caps and the draft provide a more level playing field, but making millions while fielding a below average team with no reason to improve does not produce a good product.
