TNet's favorite underperforming WR Ladson

Nov 2, 2020, 1:38 PM

Has more receptions and yards than ND's leading receiver. Clemson will pack the box, bring the pressure, and let our DBs out talent ND's WRs. Expect DJ to start with great field position in this game.

Werks for me!

His untimely drops.

I didn’t expect him to be Tee Higgins this year, that’s who he most reminds me of.

If he can get over the drops I think he’ll be a good weapon for us down the stretch. He’s made some ridiculous catches and dropped some easy ones up to this point in his career.

As someone who loves Tee....he is my local guy

He had some drops early on. I always thought it was excitement.

Frank will be okay!

To me Ladson is Deon Cain. Some comparisons to Martavis Bryant make sense as well. Those are probably the two fastest WR we have had at Clemson in the last 10 years and Ladson is in the same category speed wise with them.

He is much faster than Higgins.

If Ladson was catching everything and struggling off the field I would say Bryant all the way because of the physical similarities.

The untimely drops combined with the ability to get behind defenders and make the catch when you least expect it just screams Deon Cain to me.

That's what i said a couple weeks ago

Off-field stuff aside, Ladson is basically Deon Cain right now.

I think our defense will be fine. I also have a lot of confidence in DJ after this past week. My only real concern about DJ is that unlike BC, ND will have film of DJ playing an entire game which will perhaps give them an idea of any tendencies to try and exploit. I'm not saying there is anything there to exploit, but I'm also not a college defensive coach. It'll be interesting to see how ND decides to attack on defense, and how our coaches and DJ adjust to that.
