I’ve never heard of something so ridiculous and waaay over the top. Weatherly did nothing wrong but as I understand it, he staired down the batter after he got a huge strikeout. The teams had been jawing a bit at each other but it was never anything over the top.

A lot more smack is done in one series of a fb game than the entire baseball game. And players in fb don’t get a 4 game suspension for getting arrested... if you’re in the sec, they don’t get any suspension for getting busted for drugs.

Unreal. Apparently, there’s a conference rule that if more than one player gets tossed that the coach automatically gets tossed... i guess because the 6th inning they were warned. Both teams.

Munson was hot about it on the radio broadcast of the game. Can’t wait to hear them pre game tomorrow... wonder if Monte can even do pregame.

It's time that umps get sanitized (suspended) for bad calls; call it poor judgment. And 4 games? YGBSM. NCAA rules are unfair and in sore need of review.
