What happens if #1 LSU (close to Atlanta) plays #4 Oregon/Utah (close to Arizona)? This is very possible. Which game would they play in?

I imagine in that scenario LSU would stay closer to home in Atlanta. I think the proximity deal pertains to the 1 v. 4 game and not putting the 1-seed at a disadvantage.

I’ve heard none of the national talking heads contemplating what would happen if a one-loss Georgia upset an undefeated LSU in the SEC championship! Doesn’t affect Clemson, of course, but I’m assuming the committee would place Georgia third and then it would be very interesting to see if they placed LSU 4th leaving a one-loss PAC-12 champion on the outside looking in!
