With maybe the exception of Alex Smith, has anyone ever heard of a high profile athlete’s surgery in the last 10-20 years not going “great”?

Glad he’s ready to kick @$$ in the NFL, but seems kind of expected these days.

My surgeon said it can have a slight tear at birth and get worse over time.

He said last week that it happened in the second game (Texas A&M) of the 2019 season and that he has been playing thru it all this time.

labrums are overrated. He sure looked to be moving BOTH arms freely and normally at his pro day. And sure, pain meds could reduce or eliminate the pain, but they couldn't make up for the lack of an important cartilage in moving your arm around while keeping your shoulder bone in the socket.
