Really hate to hear this. DJ exceeded all expectations when he played here in Houston and I'm sorry they didn't re-sign him.

On the bright side, the reason he left was because he made bank in Cincinnati.

D.J. has done much more than anybody expected since high school! He was unstoppable at Clemson, but not respected enough to be drafted higher. At Houston, he played like a madman, obviously gaining the respect of J.J. Watts. I am sure J.J. wishes he was still in Houston. He is finally being paid like he deserves, but unfortunately is now out for the season. I am sure he will attack his recovery like he did QB’s and RB’s. He can use J.J. as an example. Never doubt him, he will come back stronger.
