Senior Aamir Simms (Palmyra, Va./Blue Ridge School) was tabbed preseason first-team All-ACC and Clemson was picked 10th on Wednesday by league media. Simms join Read Update »

The only reason Syracuse is predicted ahead of us is by name. Also Duke’s top frosh are not world beaters they have in past. Miami and Louisville have key injuries. I think we can finish as high as 5th or maybe 4th.

NC State was another team that was way high in their preseason prediction. They lost two starting guards including point guard Markel Johnson and just because they have a top 50 PG coming in doesn’t mean they will be just as good.

I agree. A 10th Place conference finish won’t get a team into the NCAA Tournament, and that’s where I see the Tigers going this year.
It’s supposedly a tougher schedule, but we have added some talented rrecruits/transfers to compliment the seasoned veterans. Now the trick is to get that talent on paper to translate into more victories.
