I got home in time to see only the last minutes but at the ACC level, you don't win many games if your opponent shoots 31 free throws. Got to play tough D without the foul but I will say that Mike Young is a basketball coach and putting your team in position to get fouled is so important. Big step-up in level of competition to be in the conference now.

Going to disagree with you a little bit. I think our non conference schedule has prepared us for the ACC season. But playing your third game in seven days including getting home Sunday at 2:30am will set you back on the road against a good team who had a week to prepare for you after coming off a loss.

We will learn from this loss and get better.

Hopefully, this will ground us enough to start focusing on not losing another game the rest of the year!

We must Rebound.

Go Tigers

"That was a hard game with Alabama on Saturday"

Sound like an excuse? Maybe it's just me.

OK - I’ll stand up and be counted....I’m still ALL IN for CBB and Tigers MBB !!

We struggled the entire game last night but I was glad to see the GRIT - never quit fighting and you could see it on our kids faces at the end of the game. They wanted it.

While we could have shot better for sure and our D wasn’t as effective as usual, II thought two things hurt us most:

1) lack of bench production - I believe we’ve had 4 games in a row with 25 pts or more off the bench and last night was less than 10. Anyone know where Hunter Tyson was??? We missed him!

2) chippy calls by the refs in the paint that all seemed to go against Clemson and never against the Hokies! They went to line at least 7-8 more times than us and several were terrible calls.

We’ll be back. Go Tigers!!!

if its not just you it should be. playing a good team on their home court that had a week to prepare against a team that had a day could make a difference. but hey you might need one morsel of a brain to figure that out. sorry but we got a #### good team that will only get better during the year and if you can not see that you are the one with a serious problem

I did not see the game but I see that they shot 31 free throws and we only shot 14. Seems lopsided.
