TNET: Pigskin Prophet: Lugubrious Leprechauns Edition

Pigskin Prophet: Lugubrious Leprechauns Edition

When Notre Dame visited Clemson back in 2015 (seems like a few days ago, seems like decades ago), college football analyst and Notre Dame grad Aaron Taylor predicted that Clemson would be “lugubrious” following the game. Full Story »

I'm shocked that he didn't do the truly big game this week.

It's the clash of the Lilliputians.
It's the classic match-up of weakness vs. weakness.
It's what happens when the resistible force meets the movable object.

Pitt offense is 82nd in nation and 102nd in rushing offense.
FSU is 102nd in total defense and 90th in rushing defense.

This is Narduzzi's 6th season at Pitt. To say the natives are restless is like saying ice cream is a little fattening. If he loses tomorrow he may be one of the few coaches fired this covid-infested year.

The prophet could have predicted that after 9 overtimes and a 0-0 score the coaches decided to end the game with a coin toss.

Indeed. And just because of that I hope your boys make it back. Well, maybe not ALL the way back. Like, 1-2 losses a year back. Still have a lot of Bowden Bowls to pay back haha.

I remember not long ago. Like 4 weeks maybe those fools at ESPN were saying that Pitt was one of the teams in the ACC that could challenge Clemson.

Agree on all points except not sure what Duke Offense

The Prophet has been watching. No knock on Chase, but Duke was not the place to show his NFL talent...

UNC takes them behind the woodshed in my opinion.

I hear you, but where better than Cutcliffe? I mean, Jawja would probably love to have him right now, but I would say a QB is as big a mystery to Kirby as it is to his buddy Muscrat. Honestly the only one better for a transfer guy would be the Pirate. Leach has a LONG way to go in Starkville though.
