Clemson's 2021 football schedule could be like this, but don't plan weddings just yet

We have all lost so much trust in the media, I believe we need to "Fact Check" the "Buttered Popcorn" business. I suggest Kirby Smart at his earliest convenience!

So tell us David, does lion urine smell like Junior Mints or any other movie theater treat? <img border=">

Lets roll out the schedule and Swoff out the door at the same time. Before he gives ND some other undeserved benefits

UCONN YAWN! Citadel, Coastal or Furman would be more exciting.

Drop SC State, why play them? U Conn?
Add Coastal, App State, UAB, N Texas, Liberty, Texas State, ULL, UCF, USF.....
Some competitive teams will play Clemson without a return game.

Would not surprise me if CU is looking for an opponent at last minute. What we get for scheduling someone like that. A southern mid major like UAB, Troy, Tulane, S. Miss would make more sense.

I believe the game was scheduled quite a few years ago when UCONN was playing decent football.

Nobody at Clemson expected UCONN to cancel their football program and forget to tell the players and coaches.

I say we scrap UCon and go with Coastal Carolina. They've shown a willingness to play on short notice and provide a competitive game. Plus it would help an in-state program earn more revenue and recognition.

I thought UConn canceled their football team. Are they even in a conference for football anymore? This game needs to go away and be replaced with AppSt or Coastal Carolina, maybe even BYU if they are still assembling their schedule.

Jan 22, 2021, 9:27 AM

South Carolina State on September 11th is a letdown. Need to stop scheduling these type of in state scrimmages. Any stats from this game does not need to be counted. It may be time for College football to begin pre-season games then these type of games can be charged admission monies. Fans will be hungry for football and the in state schools can get their cut of the gate.

Excited for this season! Wish we could trade the ##### for UGA and play the yard birds every other year. The Clemson UGA rivalry actually means something...

That being said, Go Tigers! I can’t wait to see how much stronger we are in the trenches. DJ is going to show the world how incredible his talents truly are and Venables is gonna grind that chip right off his own shoulder and onto the opponents QB’s.

Really hoping DK takes a step up as for as leadership is concerned. Arguably the most talented athlete on the defensive side of things, he needs to step up and show the world.

Autumn weddings should be illegal. I am never going to another one and missing football. You have to have your priorities in order and football comes first.
People plan them in the Fall just to be mean to us football fans and I am standing my ground.

I agree - my cousin got married during the Clemson/USuCk game one fall. I was in the bar at the reception watching the game on the big screen (while my wife danced with some other guy.) Both me and my cousin are now divorced. Coincidence? I think not.

That schedule does not excite me. I really detest the "new ACC" and don't care a lick about Syracuse, Pitt, Louisville, or BC. And SC State?! C'mon, man!

I hear you and therein lies the problem of LSU2020 and OSU2021 - no good solution that I know of until someone else improves. The projections are for UNC next year (#7 early) but they will probably fizzle like everyone else has in recent history.

The Syracuse Carrier Dome may be fully air conditioned by the start of their season. Was projected to have full AC by May. They were ahead of schedule with their renovations but the last report was months ago. Some renovations wont be done till 2022.
