Swoffie has disgusted me for years. Allowing Notre Dame to play for the ACC championship is nonsensical. I don't care if they share their revenue this year. If ND won't commit their football program to ACC membership, they aren't members and should be ineligible. That being said, the issue of the rival games being played is now out of his control.

I believe the ACC said we could play our in-state rivals but
the sec said no. I don't believe that Swoffie is guilty on this.

What? The ACC's rules left an opening for the rivalry games. The SEC is responsible for ending them. I don't like Swofford, but he's not at fault here.

You guys are not getting it.
Swoffie caused the cancellation of the Chick Fil A games. The SEC thinks, ok the ACC ditched us, why should we help them.
And that was done to protect someone who will not join us in football in the ACC.

Regardless of how you feel about Swofford, this isn't on him at all. The ACC laid the groundwork to play the rivalry games and the SEC refused.
