Who do you think will have the surprise performance coming out of camp?
I'm going with Van Smith.

Outside of who we already know? Trayvon and Dex thus far along with Tre.
Id say those three and Feaster are already turning heads.
Sounds like Kvon may be the most pleasant surprise so far overall and i think he will continue that trend.
My hope is the answer is Fields. We need him to turn the corner and im not sure he is.

K'Von Wallace. Sounds like a really versatile kid who can play all over the secondary.

But based on the video from the team lake day, I am concerned about his tubing technique.

Coaches would like to see more from Van and Mark Fields. The biggest surprises for them have been Feaster and Mullen.

Also, Cornell Powell is an animal. He may not play a ton this year, but he will be a standout and, likely, the next first-round potential WR after Cain.

I'd say Wallace, trapp, and dye
Dex and mullen were highly ranked and I'd be more disappointed if they weren't performing like they are.
I think Gage is gonna turn heads on the OL.

Going off what the coaches have said. Feaster has impressed well beyond his high school ranking with his strength and vision between the tackles - he's a much more advanced and college-ready runner than was expected. Mullen is stronger and more developed as a corner than was expected - better technique and footwork. Both have significantly exceeded coaches' expectations for this year - Big Dex, we all knew would be an immediate impact player; Trapp hasn't actually looked especially good from what I've heard (Dabo likes to put stuff out there to justify questionable takes). Wallace is a lot better than his star rating, but he's about where I and the coaches expected - a versatile, athletic player who needs a little development but plenty of potential all over the secondary.

After today?
Dabo doesn't sound as happy.
I'll go with Farrell and Yeargin as surprises.

I'll go with Xavier Kelly. I think he will contribute this year.
Seems a lot of people are sleeping on him. Outside of Dex - he was one of, if not the the most impressive defensive recruit in the 16' class imo.

I think Ray-Ray's been under the radar a bit when

talking about our O for this coming season. Seems like he's fully over injuries and turning a corner from a competitive standpoint, and showing it during camp. He could evolve into a major contributor on offense and special teams this year - something special. Hoping so at least.

Based on today's scrimmage, Id say Choice. He is explosive.

I'm going with Choice tho because we knew the talent was there, but everyone doesn't come back from injuries the same. Sounds like he's back and better!

All the praise about Trayvon Mullen is blowing my mind right now so that's my pick. Came into camp about 15lbs heavier than I thought he would and he's hanging with the big boys right off the bus.
