during a surprise visit at the Valentine's dinner party and concert my wife and I attended in Long Beach tonight. How is this Clemson related? Because I was there of course.

for The Rolling Stones in 1972 (at The Pit, in Albuquerque). He was out promoting his "Superstition" album. Martha Reeves and the Vandella's were billed as singing back-up, but something happened and they were unable to make it. The ladies who did the job were more than competent. Stevie sang and took a turn playing every instrument on stage. A remarkable performance

Oh, yeah....the Stones were OK, too!....:~)

btw....tix were $6.25 ea.

When I was up there the day before my 21st. He was/is my moms fav, so I was a fan by default....I was trying out a keyboard when he sat down at the one next to me and started playing. We had a little impromptu jam session until his entourage caught up and kinda surrounded him. I went up and said hey & thanks when I saw the opportunity. He was pretty cool....I used a friends cell phone (I didn't have one) to call my mom and brag. She wasn't cool ;)
