Sorry Chad defenders

Nov 15, 2014, 4:52 PM

He is the QB coach, as well as the OC. This means he is totally responsible for not having a plan in place.

That goes for the over use of our QB as our primary RB for years, not developing a game ready back that is somewhat close to the starter and not being able to adjust beyond WR screens past his option #1 QB.

I am wondering where the Dabo that told Vic K how things was going to be ran for the best cause of the team went, because it is obvious Chad needs the same type of ultimatum.

There is too much weighing on our starting QB, has been for years. Especially when there is no signs of plan B; in a player or scheme.

Let Brent chose our next OC.

He is who we truly have. Him and his guys deserve better, period.

I believe in Brent.

Would love for him to our HC.

That, I would agree with.

I think he would be a better leader in difficult situations. And I think the players would respect his leadership more. How he would handle the offense, who knows? But right now it's pretty clear that CM needs NFL talent to have any success... and without it he doesn't know what to do. Neither he nor Dabo could tell that Cole Stoudt was AT BEST the third best QB on the roster going into the spring. That's troubling. Not to excuse Chad Kelly's immaturity, but the coach's lack of basic ability to evaluate their skill talent cost us bigtime this season.

Well said. I agree, I agree, I agree. You hit the nail all up on the head with your assessment.

My thoughts exactly. CM has known since spring game that Cole was the starter. Since the loss to the Criminoles he has had more time to develop a game plan B for Cole and 3 starts to see it through. Hasn't happened. Is Cole a Watson or Boyd quality qb? No, but better coaching and playbook edits would certainly not hurt.
