a broken fan belt. After about 10 mins of trying to convince him to take Uber home and let me bring the tools and a new belt I told him to go into the BILO and pair a cheap pair of hose or panty hose, wrap one of the legs around the crank pulley and the waterpump pulley and tie it tight.

He did so and made it home last night without scattering the engine in the truck. I'm going to select a few tools from the shed, pick up a v-belt and make a visit this morning.

That right there is old school stuff, children.
