So.. do they still get to be called student-athletes?

Jan 21, 2018, 2:22 AM

Since a number of the kids going to Duke, Kentucky, UNC only stay a year and must likely never take any real classes, I believe the term doea not apply. The sad part is these guys are taking scholarships away from kids who could really use them. Kids that mighy not make it to the NBA buy could change the trajectory of their family by attending a school like Duke, UNC etc. I realize its just a few but just seems a real shame.

Blame the NBA. If the professional ranks "expect" a diploma

or more years removed, as do most "next level" jobs, all would be better in the world.

Maybe one day we'll get back to black on black hate crime and get away from the worthless trash trying to make stinky about something else?

UNC has had 3 one-and-dones in 13 years and oddly enough two of them were not starters on teams that won the NCAA, Tony Bradley last year and Marvin Williams in 05

in the same time period, Dook and KY are in double figures... think KY is over 20
