Go figure. I thought Living Learning Communities were about your common majors and classes, students getting together to study, and help succeed in college and their future careers. My daughter was in one and she succeeded in Chemistry and Biology with the help of other students and tutors. So, I guess now an LLC can be about who you’re sexually attracted to, or whichever gender you choose to be.
And Lavender Place sounds like some exotic strip club on the Vegas Strip.

Considering students of the opposite sex can’t room together typically it will be interesting to see how it is handled. But then again what is typical anymore?

Let me save you the trouble of having to click and read: "Lavender Place will be the queer living and learning community dedicated to Clemson's queer student community."
The person responsible for raising the awareness for the need says he won't be living in the designated rooms himself. Clemson offers plenty of options for today's students.
