Great Pro career, too. He was ready every time his number was called, and he has been a heck of a player and he was a great player and representative for Clemson.

I could not believe when ESPN called him Clipboard Jesus on the air yesterday. I was at the dentist and nearly spit the equipment out to laugh. Still funny after all these years.

That's what you want from a career as a NFL QB...a bank account, good knees and joints...a fully functioning brain...and not even 35! Outstanding!

Good for him...thanks for the memories Charlie!

He may not have been hit that hard since he went pro but he was crushed repeatedly during the 2002 Tangerine Bowl against Texas Tech. Charlie proved to me that night he is as tough as they come.

beating the flightless birds from Columbia 4 years in a row;

and for 63-17.

Clipboard Jesus must have a direct line to the football Gods...

Dude I don't know what it is but I love watching him play, I'll be dvr-ing that one

Dec 17, 2015, 9:46 PM

It's not that he's some great NFL QB but he's really a lot better than people give him credit for. I don't know why he's never got his shot but guys like Case Keenum have...watch him play this weekend... I bet he will surprise u

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

And in 10 Years he should have only spent 20% of that.

Also....

When turns 55 he gets, by today's standards, 80k per year in retirement, and at 65 that is bumped up to 200k. He gets the max for playing 10 years. He also gets something like 800k in an NFL annuity. Safe to say he had the best gig ever.
