How many on here would vote for Nikki in 2024?

Dec 2, 2020, 9:36 AM

I would and its a shame that camel toe will most likely be the first female president.

I would vote for her***

to you sir.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I would

Dec 2, 2020, 9:39 AM

given that none of Trump's kids, Lindsey Graham or Mitch McConnell were cabinet members. I know there's no way to know that beforehand, but that would be the ideal scenario.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

She's an actual conservative. Those types tend to want

Dec 2, 2020, 9:55 AM

to distance themselves from the Party of Trump (when it's safe to do so and won't ruin their political careers, I mean). She wouldn't invite any of the current circus back into her administration, and if she would/did, she's way less smart and savvy than I give her credit for.

Re: I think the same. I coud see Tim Scott playing an important

Dec 2, 2020, 10:21 AM

I am a big Tim Scott fan every since he spoke @ my daughter's graduation. He proves you can come from any where and reach the top. The American dream. Just work hard and be truthful. I would like Scott to be her running mate but that would not work. She would have to get someone from the mid-west I would think.

She defends Trump more than I'd like.

Dec 2, 2020, 3:50 PM [ in reply to She's an actual conservative. Those types tend to want ]

I'd prefer Tim Scott or Sanford over Nikki.

presidency.

Since she already has the pre-reqs of being woke in that she is a woman of color, the only thing left to debate her on would be her actual conservative policies.

I don't think any dem wants to do that; certainly not Kamala. America isn't buying what she's selling. She was elected as a tag along to someone who simply wasn't Trump.

Nikki's biggest hurdle will be getting Trump out of the way.

Re: She's the best thing that will come from a Biden/Harris

I think she checked all the boxes when she was UN ambassador as being in the Trump camp. I hope he would not stand in her way but who knows? If he does then I will have a big problem with Trump.

Dec 2, 2020, 10:08 AM

I voted against Trump because of his behavior/antics.

If the next Republican nominee (such as Haley) decides to act the same way to pull in the Trump base, I will vote for Biden again.

If Haley acts like she normally acts then I would absolutely vote for her.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I almost certainly wouldn't.

Dec 2, 2020, 10:15 AM

Depends who she's running against and if she has any interesting ideas, which I find highly implausible. I expect the same boilerplate, 40 year old Republican platform from her. For all the complaining the right does about identity politics, I think Nikki Haley's entire appeal is her race and gender.

That said, I don't practice Santeria, I ain't got no crystal ball.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: I almost certainly wouldn't.

Dec 2, 2020, 3:09 PM

Yeah, I think she is a real smooth talker - speaks without really saying anything. But as far as leadership - good ideas for the future she is all hat and no cattle.

Here's a question - what % of Republicans would have trouble voting for a woman for President (in the primaries) ?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: I almost certainly wouldn't.

Dec 2, 2020, 3:58 PM

I would have zero problem voting for a woman. I don’t know a single republican that would have a problem. She has to be the right one just line any other candidate. We don’t vote based on race or gender. We vote on merit.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Depends. Against Kamala? Yes. Against another Dem? Would have

Re: How many on here would vote for Nikki in 2024?

Dec 2, 2020, 10:44 AM

Too early to tell. There are things I liked about her as governor and things I didn't. It depends on how this admin handles the next four years. If they are as evil and incompetent as the Trump admin, I likely will.

Haley is a quintessential politician. She shifts with public opinion and doesn't really stand for much. She was a Trump enabler, and that already gets negatives from me. I know she despised Trump and all he stood for, but she didn't have the courage to stand up to him and instead played for her own ambition.

And "Camel Toe"? After all the times you yammer on about being a Christian and being good to people and respecting the Trump admin? Right.
