There was no post spring depth chart released. I doubt he was set to start. He barely played his three years here and didn’t show much when it comes to taking over as a starter

My guess is that he wasn't going to start, and knew it. Good luck to him at Jacksonville State.

Most depth charts had Shaq listed at Will. This transfer probably means Chad Smith will lock up Mike, moving Skalski to Will, and of course Simmons at SAM. Will being typically the most athletic (but smaller than Simmons who is just a freak), I would think maybe a Spector or Mike Jones as depth. Don't count some of the athletic freshman to come in and help out. Patterson was a RB in HS and I think could be a major player. All in all who cares when we average 50+ points a game.

Shaq was passed over for PT last year by two basically

Preferred walk ons who were given scholarships because their Dad was/is a legend here. Those guys were both slow but probably did what the coaches wanted. Then this year he is probably getting passed over by a white guy who was hurt most of the year last year and a Redshirt (Mike jones). I’m guessing his Spring exit interview didn’t go well.
