Need help from one of you Jack Off All Trades.

My palatial estate has 23" deep cabinets in the kitchen (upbuilder grade premicum luxe). One of the rollers on the bottom mount drawer slide came off't'd and I can't seem to find the correct size replacement slides to fix it. I can find 18" and 22" and 24," but no 23."
What do?

The Korean War Green Beret I grew up hanging around always said, when you need a tool to do a job, go ahead and buy it. Then when you become an old man, you'll have every tool you'll need for any job.

Dremel tool with a metal cutting blade or a 4" grinder.
I use my 4" grinder to "fix" all sorts of things.

Why do you need cabinets at all?
Apr 7, 2020, 10:13 AM
|
|
If you pile everything on the counter top, then it's closer at hand when you need it and you avoid carpal tunnel syndrome from all the cabinet opening and closing. If the counter top gets full, you can start putting things in cardboard boxes on the floor, although that does add wear and tear to your back from all the bending over. That said, I'm guessing you have a very strong back already from years of bending over, so that's probably a non-starter anyway.
