He's much like Tua was, and has been withe the Dolphins this season, just a very good system QB. Though I have had a few Bama people tell me that Jones is better than Tua was. Stronger arm, but not as accurate at Tua in the short passing game. Still very good though.

I would agree. I'm still pissed that Miami knew they needed a qb for a while and passed on DW4 and Mahomes, passed on Herbert and may have totally shot the bed and watching Trevor end up in North Florida instead of South Florida.

Thread is about Jones, my bad. I agree. He has better arm talent. I just worry about his ability to disect the defense like a good qb can. Most Bama qbs are system type qbs where they have a preset hot read and then a safety valve checkdown. Never saw Tua go through progressions whole at Alabama, very seldom if ever.
