I don’t want to play Ohio State in the first round. I think they are the only team that can beat us. With that being said so don’t see LSU dropping from 1 if they win out?

I know. It’s hilarious how people on this site think every teams sucks except Clemson. And these people love to talk about “bias”. Lol. There’s a line between being a fan or fanatic of a team and just being delusional. That line is crossed quite a bit on tnet.

When you get to the playoff, you play who is there...no one knows how the committee will seed it when it’s all said and done...
Clemson has no reason to fear anyone.
Also, on a particular day, any team that is good enough to be in the top 4 will have a chance against Clemson...I don’t think there’s a big difference between LSU, Ohio St, etc.

My take is that we want tOSU as overconfident as possible.

They come into the playoff thinking they are the best thing since sliced bread, undefeated, untested and ripe for the picking. I hope they run the table until they face us in the playoff, maybe in the final, and we beat them like we have always beaten them.
We own tOSU. That being said, they look like our toughest challenge in the playoff. I think we are up to it.

I'm thinking Not.We need to keep Ohio State in but after that it gets muddy.
I do see two SEC teams in if Georgia runs the table the next 2 weeks,and beats LSU in the SECCG.
I do hope that Auburn can somehow beat Bama next weekend,which would knock them out and Oregon wins out so we get a good mix of Big 10, Pac 12,SEC and ACC.
I'm not worried about any of those teams as each has it's strengths,and weakness.
Regardless,you are going to play somebody,and over the last 4 years Clemson has proven they can take the field,compete and win the Trophy.

not to underestimate OH ST or any other possible opponents in the CFP. First we have to win two more games to get there (we will surely be favored to). I think both Penn State and Michigan are overrated but still good teams. If OH ST easily beats both, they could jump LSU for #1.

I’m rooting for PSU only because I absolutely despise OSU. I mean with a purple passion! If I was betting though I’d take OSU. Looks like I’d be right so far.
