There's something to be said about having adequate rest time. It was a disadvantage, all for TV money. Hope the ACC got what it wanted (at the expense of no team in the playoff).

1 day early. We did an amazing job after all we went through. I am just happy we kept it as close as we did knowing we had to play 1 day early. That wasn't even a bad loss considering we had to play 1 day early. Hopefully we gain some 1st place votes knowing that we had to play 1 day early. It was a quality loss. There isn't a team in the country that could have won that game. Great loss!

We lost a day of rest because of ###### ACC scheduling. A day of rest that our previously injured starting QB needed. Factor that in with ###### coaching, an arrogant attitude that anything we do will result in a win, no intensity or speed on offense, boneheaded blown coverages on defense, and not giving HJ a chance after ZC missed several wide open receivers = loss.
Joke all you want to make yourself feel better, but those things you call "excuses" are why we lost.

One disadvantage quickly turns into another. We had been able to overcome that with solid coaching and DW4. Both were painfully absent last night. Now we get to sit on it for 2 long weeks.

Just beat South Carolina (which won't be easy).
It's going to suck watching them win today. And Tennessee is a better team than Syracuse.
