They’re seceding? Shouldn’t have ever left the Big 12 anyway***

Agreed. They've now gone 10 years without playing Oklahoma. It was a terrific rivalry. But....money talks.

Lost their recruiting fertile territory in Texas, now have no territory able to support top notch football. Big mistake.

I seriously wonder - can a conference tell a school they can't play?

Or can they only say there will no conference games? I have a hard time believing a conference can tell a school they can't play any games (major infractions aside).

Well these days who knows. There is an ACC now because the Southern wouldnt let teams go to bowls in the early 50's. First year of ACC UMd was Natl Champ I believe.

Good to see Frost deciding to take "the road less traveled."***

He is desperate. They expected an immediate turn around when he came. It hasnt happened

Am I the only one who knows poetry?

Very well done.

Thumbs up.

Where will he get games, though?

I guess Nebraska could go back to the Big 12 with hat in hand but I dunno if they'd be inclined to help out, considering the ugly divorce that happened there.

The SEC does not appear to be interested in OOC games...and Nebraska would die ugly against most SEC teams anyhow...especially the SEC West schools that are geographically closer.

I admire the sentiment, but a season is tough to pull off with no opponents.

Yep, suspect Texas would simply say, "You gotta kiss it."

And then turn and drop their trousers.

D Rad - sign up Nebraska as the +1 game for the Tigers.

But if all the games are canceled...seems like he could claim his 2nd natty
