Saban Done With Rehabbing Coaches

Supposedly he has recently come to the understanding coaches are using the Alabama program and him to rehab their careers. He went on to say something to the sound of, "they aren't showing loyalty to the program or me and I am going to have to stop allowing it"!

Bad news for Muschamp and others!

This would mean him getting someone who is up and coming opposed to retreads. He needs to get someone who he brings up through the ranks and who is actually good. Loyal and there to not just get promoted.

Maybe if Saban was not such a jerk to work for he would not be constantly replacing staff. Look at all the coaches who have bolted from Bama. Especially since Clemson has won 2 out of the last 3 NC games against Bama. That 44-16 score handed to him by Dabo and his boys sticks with Saban everyday. He is just a little ole angry man that know wants to be around.

Either last year or year before his OC had moved onto to another job. Saban did not know until the first coaches meeting when the coach did not show up. His office had been cleaned out too. The fact Saban ask where his OC was and sent some to his office. He did not know until the first meeting which is hilarious but shows how disconnected he is with his staff. (I think it was his OC)

You nailed it. Saban has treated assistant coaches like cannon fodder for a long time.

They've learned to turn the tables on him.

I saw on another thread where he was being critical of the refs "not letting the kids have fun"! If so, he has basically concluded the Dabo way is better than his way"!

Kids are going to the NFL from Clemson w/o having had to deal with a tyrant for 3 - 4 years! And, Clemson is winning and winning big.

His facade takes a hit with each Clemson win! The facade of: "you have to be an absolute A double S in order to get trained up and make it to the league and to win a national title.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson staff and the Clemson football program are the best thing to have happened to college football in a long time!
Before it had started becoming more and more of the Saban clone coaches; who don't know how to be good people and still win!

Saban’s personality is such that he will constantly be in the market for assistant coaches. He will take whatever he can get out of desperation even if that means taking failures from other programs. It’s what happens when you’re a jerk.

His arrogance will be his undoing.
