SEC supporters about to cry......

On one of the sportstalk radio stations this morning in Atlanta they were about to cry because this will be the first title game since 2005 when Texas and USC played that a SEC team hasn't played in the title game. They were even predicting that the TV ratings are going to be seriously lowered as a result.
I'm glad not to see an SEC team. I don't much care either way about Oregon or Ohio State, but I'm glad to see a change.

I never hear anyone talking college football unless I am at a mega Sports Bar on a Saturday during the season. The new format does seem to have more people's attention.

the $EC fans have an over-inflated opinion of their conference. If tonights game is very close and competitive, the game will likely be the most viewed college football game in television history.

There are those that suggest ratings should have bearing on who gets to play for the NC. I don't get it....? Shouldn't the consideration, in who gets to play (and the only consideration) be,...
the teams that FREAKING DESERVE TO BE THERE!!!!

No SEC is great and the fact we don't have an ACC team, I am ok with it but hopefully next year is the same thing but with a Clemson in the final two.
