SEC Caliber

I was just watching the replay of the Charlotte game and heard the announcer talk about one of their DB's being SEC caliber. This was just after Ngata ran by him and caught a TD pass.

At first I was thinking what the ####. But then I realized. He did look like SEC caliber.

He looked a lot like those bama db's back in January.

Our guys just kept running past them for touchdowns.

Ironic.

I've finally come to the conclusion that when they refer to "SEC caliber" it simply means the players are a big bore.

SEC Caliber has a very specific meaning. It means that the stolen handgun found in the SEC player’s car was 9mm or larger.
